Roll Off FAQ

I am already a Burgmeier customer. Can I link my current residential or commercial account to my roll-off account?

Unfortunately, our roll-off accounts run on a different computer system than our residential and commercial accounts.  Your roll-off account will be separate, with its own account number.

Do I have to pay a deposit on the roll-off container?

Our system is PAY-AS-YOU-GO.  During account set up, you will provide us with a credit card to place on your account.  The c/c is charged as services are rendered (for example, you are only charged the delivery fee prior to delivery date.  Nothing else is charged until you call to have the container emptied or removed).

Do I have to be present during delivery?

We usually prefer someone to be there for the roll-off delivery to show any specific placement instructions and to sign our general release waiver.  If this is not possible, you MUST sign our waiver at www.burgmeiers.com prior to delivery date.  Click on “General Release Waiver” and fill out the appropriate information before submitting it. You can also be available via phone on the day of delivery if the driver has any placement questions if it’s impossible for you to be present at the location.

How long can I keep the container?

You can keep the roll-off for 2 weeks at no additional rental cost.  After 2 weeks, the rental fee is $5.00 per day.  If you are a contractor and need the roll-off for an extended period of time, please let Erica or Karen know in advance so we may provide you with a monthly rental fee rather than our standard daily fee.  You MUST call to have the container removed.  We do not automatically remove any containers without a prior phone call authorization, even if the 2 week period is up.  You do NOT have to be present at the location for removal.

Can I set up a specific time for delivery?

Unfortunately, no.  We will assign you a day for delivery, and that could be morning or afternoon.  We do a lot of contracted roll-off work, and some of that fills up all of the morning spots.  You will receive a text alert and/or phone call from the driver when he is enroute.  If you require more than ½ hour notice prior to delivery, please let us know and we can accommodate that to the best of our ability.

How full can I fill the container?

You must not exceed the maximum load level indicated in the container; this is for safety reasons for transportation.  Our drivers must be able to tarp and haul your container safely.  If they deem the load too high, it is your responsibility to offload material to ensure it meets load-level requirements and it will be scheduled for another date.
